Rail

The Federal Railroad Administration reports that the U.S. freight rail network is widely considered the largest, safest and most cost-efficient freight system in the world. And to maintain that status, railroad owners invest nearly $25 billion annually to sustain and add capacity to their rail systems.

McKim & Creed offers engineering and surveying services to owners of both freight railroads and light rail systems. Our experience ranges from collecting image data from a mobile scanner attached to a rail truck and extracting top-of-rail brake lines to furnishing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for light rail stations, surface parking, bridges, tunnels and maintenance facilities. McKim & Creed supplies engineering and surveying services that help keep our rails safe, functional and cost-effective.
