Addressing Affordable Housing

McKim & Creed has always had a culture of encouraging our employees to participate in charitable activities in our communities to support our neighbors and clients. We do this because of our founders’ great example, because it is the right thing to do, but probably most importantly, because it feels so good to help others who may not be as fortunate as we are.

McKim & Creed has joined with North Carolina State University to raise awareness and address the need for affordable housing through Habitat for Humanity’s Build-a-Block program. We are donating time and money to help build affordable homes for 11 families in Wake County, North Carolina. Work began last fall, and we have three work dates planned for March. Project completion is anticipated in early summer.

If you’d like to invest your muscles and/or your money in the Build-a-Block program, sign up here. We’d love to have you join the McKim & Creed team!

As part of Habitat for Humanity’s Build-a-Block program, and in partnership with North Carolina State University, McKim & Creed is helping build 11 houses on Lake Wheeler Road in Raleigh, North Carolina and is donating $10,000.
