Commercial UAV News: Understanding the Tools that Enable Aerial Survey Drones

Kurt shared his thoughts on the importance of imagery, how Esri’s Drone2Map is impacting the market, and the advantages of being able to easily share information.

He discusses a collaboration between Esri and McKim & Creed in which we tested the efficacy of using unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to collect data for coastal surveys. The article also includes images obtained from a study in which McKim & Creed tested UAS technology to survey a landfill.
