Florida Bike MS Team Exceeds Fundraising by 235%

On October 14-15, 2017, McKim & Creed’s Florida Bike MS team took on the PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore, riding from Ponte Vedra Beach to Daytona Beach. Team members rode distances ranging from 36 to 83 miles, and raised $5,885 to fund progress in MS research and provide services to those affected by MS. This is a whopping 235% above the team’s fundraising goal!

Team members included (l-r) Curtis Burkett, Bob O’Brien, Ashley Shaw, John Lucey, Craig Wells (team captain) and Mike Nixon. Not pictured is team member Tom Pugh. Derek Crowell, Ben Porter and Joy Austin were also members of the team and helped with fundraising, but were unable to participate in the ride.

Combined with McKim & Creed’s New Bern Bike MS team, the company has raised nearly $30,000 to help fight MS.
