Largest Engineering Firms in Pittsburgh

McKim & Creed, Inc. has been named one of the largest engineering firms in Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh Business Times. The announcement was published on February 12, 2021 in the publication’s annual “Largest Pittsburgh-Area Engineering Firms” list. The rankings are based on local engineering billings from the previous year. McKim & Creed was ranked #11.

McKim & Creed opened its first Pittsburgh office in 2015, specializing in industrial water and wastewater engineering and design-build services. In July 2018 the firm acquired Pittsburgh-based Loftus Engineers, LLC, and expanded its services to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural engineering. The company has a local staff of 50 engineers, designers, CAD technicians and support personnel.

Notable Pittsburgh projects completed by McKim & Creed include the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Passavant Boiler Plant Upgrades, Project Cares Homeless Shelter, New Iron City Brewery and Pittsburgh Produce Terminal.
