McKim & Creed Hires Nicholas Dierkes, PE, to Lead Hydraulic Modeling Group
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – McKim & Creed, one of the largest engineering and survey firms in the U.S., today announced that Nicholas Dierkes, PE, has joined the firm as Hydraulic Modeling Group Leader. Mr. Dierkes is based in the firm’s Asheville office.
“While one of Nick’s core roles will be to lead/support hydraulic modeling pursuits and projects across the company, his background in project management, asset management, condition assessment and GIS will also help us to continue to expand our services in those areas” said McKim & Creed Senior Vice President Rob Stout, PE. “Nick is a critical addition that complements our collective skillset in our Water business, allowing us to more effectively serve all of our clients’ needs across our company footprint.”
Mr. Dierkes is a licensed engineer in North Carolina and South Carolina and brings more than 15 years of experience specializing in water and wastewater planning, design, construction, and management projects. Mr. Dierkes’ core career experience has focused on the evaluation of collection and distribution systems to identify condition and capacity limitations and to renew these systems to meet future needs.

Mr. Dierkes has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida.
