McKim & Creed Hires Water Services Project Manager to Continue Firm’s Growth in South Florida
BOCA RATON, Fla. — McKim & Creed, one of the largest engineering and surveying firms in the U.S., today announced that Omar Khan, PE, has joined the firm as a project manager working with the firm’s water business unit. Mr. Khan is based in Boca Raton, Fla.
Mr. Khan brings more than 14 years of experience working as an engineer in the water/wastewater industry, including facilitating a range of projects for the Cities of Coral Springs, Tamarac and Coconut Creek. During this time, he has managed, designed and supported infrastructure related projects, including raw water supply, water treatment plant improvements, water main replacement, water service replacement, gravity sewer, vacuum sewer, pump station and force main design. While working on these projects, he provided feasibility studies, design reports/plans, specifications, cost estimates, permitting/bidding assistance, and engineering services during construction.

Mr. Khan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Florida.
