MCKIM & CREED WELCOMES DAVID PERNAS AS VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONAL FINANCE
Seasoned A/E/C Industry Leader Joins McKim & Creed to Drive Financial Performance and Operational Excellence
CLEARWATER, FLA. – July 7, 2025 – McKim & Creed, a leading engineering and geospatial services firm, is pleased to announce the addition of David Pernas, CPA, as Vice President of Operational Finance. In this strategic role, Mr. Pernas will collaborate closely with McKim & Creed’s leadership team to drive operational efficiency, streamline business processes, and enhance financial performance throughout the organization.
With over 20 years of leadership in operational finance and accounting, Mr. Pernas brings a proven track record in business systems optimization, project accounting, estimating and pricing, and both state and federal overhead rate management. He is especially skilled in identifying performance improvement opportunities that boost profitability and operational execution.

A licensed CPA since 1997, Mr. Pernas began his career with Ernst & Young and has since spent more than 30 years in the A/E/C industry. He has successfully led multiple enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementations and is highly proficient in platforms including BST, Deltek Vantagepoint, SAP B1, Oracle, and Hyperion.
Mr. Pernas is a graduate of the University of South Florida and is based in Clearwater, Fla.
