Eric Smith has joined McKim & Creed's Daytona Beach office.

Project Engineer Joins Daytona Beach Office

Eric Smith, PE, has joined McKim & Creed, Inc.’s Daytona Beach, Florida, office as a project engineer specializing in water and wastewater. Eric possesses over five years of experience providing a full range of water and wastewater services to the municipal sector. Well versed in all project phases, he brings vital experience in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design projects including hydraulic modeling, pump station design and collection/distribution system design.

Eric is a member of the North Carolina Section of the American Water Works Association/Water Environment Federation (NC AWWA-WEA) and Engineers Without Borders (EWB). He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with degrees in both civil and environmental engineering.

As a water/wastewater project engineer with McKim & Creed, Eric is responsible for providing technical and design services for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater management and system modeling projects.

Within the Daytona Beach area, McKim & Creed has been involved in such projects as the Daytona Beach Orange Avenue Streetscape; Daytona Beach Beachside Sanitary Sewer System Modeling; Ormond Beach Water Treatment Plant Pump and Controls Upgrades; and the City of Bunnell Ion Exchange Water Treatment Plant.
