McKim & Creed performed survey control verification, hydrographic surveys, ADCP measurements, staking and collection of geotechnical borings, static scanning of existing bridge substructure and conventional surveys for topography and staking of proposed right-of-way. This was a design-build project for the proposed Bonner Bridge crossing Oregon Inlet along NC 12 in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The project was approximately 4 miles in length and covered a variety of design and environmental challenges.
