McKim & Creed performed design-build services for the project, and was responsible for managing design & permitting activities, site work, demolition, guard rail / signage and traffic control during construction. Phased construction and a temporary, one-way traffic pattern enabled the facility to remain operational as the bridge was demolished, constructed and commissioned.
