Central Carolina Community College Health Sciences Building

The demand for health sciences and healthcare professionals has never been higher. That demand served as a catalyst for Central Carolina Community College’s (CCCC) new health sciences building. And a growing population in Chatham County inspired CCCC to locate the facility on a brand-new campus in the Briar Chapel community.

The 40,000-SF Health Sciences Building encompasses 18 classrooms and labs. McKim & Creed provided civil engineering and landscape architectural services for this project. Before the County bought the lot, we provided site work that included roadway and utilities design. Also included were stormwater best management practices (BMP). Then after the purchase, McKim & Creed developed a site plan to meet the specific needs of the college.

The facility will be used to train current and future generations to work in the health science and healthcare fields.
