On Monday, August 28, 2017, McKim & Creed geomatics crew chief Roman Villasana set out on a mission to help Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston. Equipped with a McKim & Creed truck, one of our survey vessels, and the blessing of our geomatics business unit leader, Roman spent the day and into the evening hours, eventually helping approximately 50 people to safety. A reporter from the New York Times tagged along with Roman to record the rescue efforts.
