For this mall redevelopment project, McKim & Creed was responsible for field surveying and mapping, site/civil engineering design/construction documentation, traffic engineering. geotechnical/environmental engineering, permitting and construction coordination services. The redevelopment demolished a section of Independence Mall formerly occupied by Sears and replaced it with a grocery store, specialty shops and other amenities.
McKim & Creed conducted topographic surveys of 44 acres that identified site boundaries and located buildings, roads, parking, paved areas, concrete areas and pads, sidewalks, bollards, curbing, signs, fences, utilities, trees and public rights of way.
