McKim & Creed staff provided MEP sustainable consulting services for the new UPMC Children’s Hospital Medical Office Building in South Fayette, Penn.
The Children’s Express Care is a four-story, 61,000 SF outpatient facility located in South Fayette, Pennsylvania. The USGBC LEED NC Certified facility includes doctor’s offices for general medicine and express care, a radiology suite, audiology department, neurology, speech therapy, behavioral health, and physical therapy gym.
The care center features a 15,000 SF open gym and exam room space for rehabilitation services including audiology, the Center for Independence, physical and occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. In addition, the increased exam room space allows for an expanded pediatric specialty care, including adolescent and young adult medicine, allergy, cardiology, chronic pain, cleft-craniofacial services, dentistry, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, pulmonary and sleep medicine, and urology.
