The New Hanover Regional Medical Center Heart Center was constructed in three phases. Phase 1 consisted of a 60,000-SF, three-story medical office building with associated parking and ingress / egress for the site. Phase 2 involved a 40,000-SF medical office building and associated parking connecting to the Phase 1 drives and access points. Phase 3 included a 20-bed hospitality house. McKim & Creed provided engineering services for the eight-acre property, which consisted of conceptual land planning (schematic design), site civil engineering (construction documents), site / civil permit entitlements, and limited construction administration services.
