Completed by a project team member prior to employment at McKim & Creed, this water reclamation facility expansion to 2.5 mgd included a 1.5-mgd membrane bio-reactor treatment process followed by UV disinfection and a cascade aeration discharge into Pumpkinvine Creek. The new discharge facility operates in parallel with the existing 1.0-mgd water reclamation plant. Services included permitting assistance, contractor qualifications, detailed design, bidding services, construction management and field inspection.
