McKim & Creed is providing complete design-build services to rebuild a pump station that will feed fresh water to an active drilling area for Rex Energy’s growing Utica shale operations. Services include complete design engineering (process/piping, civil/structural, electrical, mechanical and instrumentation/controls), equipment procurement, construction support, and startup and commissioning services. Work commenced in September 2015 and the facility was completed in October.
