McKim & Creed developed a SewerCAD hydraulic model and provided subsequent infrastructure planning. The SewerCAD model encompassed an update to the existing county model and included pump stations primarily for the West Brunswick Water Reclamation Facility located in Supply.
Included in the scope of work was a data collection effort that included review of permit allocations, GIS information, as-built drawings, field test results and SCADA/telemetry information. The existing SewerGems model was then expanded and updated; this model was used to identify areas of concern. A concurrent review of existing county policy was done in order to recommend modifications that would enable more cohesive standards in expansion.
Additionally, McKim & Creed created a SewerCAD model of the NE Brunswick Regional Wastewater Transmission Improvements, which evaluated Brunswick County pump stations that discharge to the NE Brunswick Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The SewerCAD model development involved detailed consultations with County staff and incorporation of available system data from record drawings, SCADA and operator knowledge. The model was calibrated based on actual field conditions.
