Sierra Nevada is a privately owned beer brewing company headquartered in Chico, California. Its founder and CEO, Ken Grossman, uses renewable resource technologies to offset energy required for production. The Mills River plant in Asheville uses photovoltaic (PV) modules to produce 600kW of clean renewable energy from the sun. McKim & Creed provided professionally engineered and designed construction documents for permitting and installing a rooftop and parking lot canopy PV systems for the facility. Additional services included a canopy-mounted PV system for the visitor’s parking area.
