Construction staking

Regardless of project size or complexity, accurate horizontal and vertical controls are essential elements for successful construction staking project completion.

Understanding the critical nature of construction staking, McKim & Creed takes additional QA/QC measures in all phases of construction staking, including office calculations, field stake-out and office review of the field staking.

Office calculations are checked twice, at a minimum. In the field, we verify control daily, through multiple back-sight checks and horizontal/vertical check-ins to independent points. Additionally, we take a variety of redundant measurements and field-locate every stake we put in the ground. Inverses of the field-located point and the stake-out point are reviewed for every staked location. Our experienced personnel will ensure that our clients’ projects are accurately staked for construction.
