The Dallas District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has selected McKim & Creed as one of seven consultants to provide up to $21 million of subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services in 2019-20.
Under the contract, McKim & Creed and our team will provide SUE, design and construction survey and 3D design modeling and visualization services for transportation facilities and public utilities in and around Dallas. Working with McKim & Creed on the project are ARS Engineers, Inc., Lamb-Star Engineering, LP and Landtech, Inc.
“We are very excited to provide SUE services for TxDOT,” said Greg Jeffries, a 30-year industry veteran who oversees McKim & Creed’s SUE services in Texas. “This is a major TxDOT SUE contract. It demonstrates our recognized expertise and capabilities and expands our relationship with TxDOT and the Dallas District in particular. McKim & Creed is currently performing a number of SUE and utility coordination projects, including significant TxDOT projects in the Pharr and San Antonio Districts, along with pipeline projects in Karnes and Dimmit counties.”
McKim & Creed expanded its SUE services into Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma in 2017. The company has provided these services along the East Coast for approximately 15 years, and is one of the top trenchless design firms in the U.S. as determined by Trenchless Technology magazine.
