McKim & Creed evaluated and designed slope repair improvements to prevent further erosion to the embankments of residential properties along Bishop Creek. An 800-ft section of Bishop Creek was widened to incorporate the established easement, to eliminate encroachment and erosion, and to provide a downstream wetland. The project included design of rock-filled gabion walls to support embankments, articulated cabled concrete mats to prevent erosion, and planting of native Florida wetland plants.
