McKim & Creed provided engineering services to support a pilot program for Best Management Practices (BMP) monitoring. Services included feasibility studies to improve the performance of existing failed stormwater BMPs, recommendations on determining pollutant removal capabilities, and design of monitoring weirs and flumes. Standard details of structures and infrastructure were also developed to monitor BMP performance, including a monitoring manhole for the measurement and collection of stormwater runoff samples, as well as a bypass weir for use with proprietary structural stormwater BMPs.
