McKim & Creed Welcomes Jose Torres as Regional Growth Manager for MEP Business Unit
Raleigh-based engineering firm expands healthcare facility design services by adding healthcare-focused engineer.
RALEIGH – McKim & Creed, one of the largest engineering and survey firms in the United States, today announced that Jose Torres, PE, has joined the firm as Regional Growth Manager for the firm’s Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) business unit. Mr. Torres is based in McKim & Creed’s Raleigh office.
“McKim & Creed has continued to grow our MEP services over the last ten years, especially our healthcare and sciences work,” said McKim & Creed Senior Vice President Matt Daves, PE who leads the firm’s MEP business unit. “We are excited to have Jose joining us to help our team continue that path of growth. Mr. Torres brings more than 22 years of experience, specifically in designing healthcare, science, and higher education facilities. Throughout his career, he has designed more than two million square feet of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, medical office buildings, patient towers, ambulatory surgery centers, mental health facilities and renovation projects.

A North Carolina native, Mr. Torres holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from North Carolina State University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
