Converting to McKim & Creed’s FORCEMAIN software allowed Hillsborough County to upgrade its outdated and limited wastewater model. The new user-friendly, GIS-based model enables the county to not only achieve system update, but also automate several manual tasks. By simulating the county’s entire pressurized wastewater system, the software helps determine the impact of new development and evaluate the system for deficiencies.
