This 7-mile road-widening project traverses downtown Bartow. Given the complexity of a major intersection and other factors, nearly 500 test holes and standard designation techniques were required to clearly map the nine existing underground utilities. Using several different models of locating equipment, ground penetrating radar and vacuum excavation, McKim & Creed was able to successfully locate, survey and map all utilities on time and within budget.
