McKim & Creed staff conducted a flow metering effort as part of a wastewater capacity analysis in the Mayfaire Pump Station 77 service area. The initial effort involved installation, maintenance and data collection activities from four flow meter sites. The project scope was then expanded to include flow analysis in the nine pump station service areas. A single flow meter was installed in the wetwell of each pump station. In specific cases, multiple meters were required to accurately measure all wastewater generated in service areas due to system hydraulics and piping connectivity. A total of 17 open channel flow meters were installed and maintained during the monitoring period. Additionally, dry weather peak and wet weather flow patterns were analyzed.
