McKim & Creed completed the project in two phases – Phase I: Field investigation services and Phase II: Water and sewer evaluation and reporting. Field investigation services include flow metering, rainfall gauging, and data analysis for eleven identified sub-basins and development of a sanitary sewer field investigation plan identifying assets for additional investigation by smoke testing, dye water testing, manhole inventory and inspections, night flow isolations, and closed circuit television inspections (CCTV). Approximately 150,000 LF of sewer was smoke tested, over 1,100 manholes inventoried and/or evaluated, and approximately 88,000 LF of sewer was evaluated with CCTV in accordance with pipeline and manhole assessment and certification program standards. CCTV was completed by McKim & Creed utilizing CCTV equipped with digital side-scan technology to provide a 360-degree view of the pipe.
