Promotions Support Continued Growth in Pittsburgh

To support continued growth in the Pittsburgh area, McKim & Creed announces the promotion of three Pittsburgh-based engineers.

Patrick Branch, PE, has been promoted to regional growth manager. For nearly 40 years, Branch has provided and managed consulting engineering services for virtually all project types, from healthcare to education to commercial.

Brad Palmisiano, PE, has been named regional manager of mechanical engineering for McKim & Creed’s Pittsburgh office. He has 20 years’ experience providing mechanical engineering solutions for healthcare, higher education, public safety and commercial projects.

John Reese, PE, has been promoted to regional manager of electrical engineering. He has nearly 30 years’ experience and has provided electrical engineering services for projects at Allegheny Health Network, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Carnegie Science Center and Duquesne University, to name a few.

In announcing the promotions, McKim & Creed business unit leader Matthew Daves, PE, LEED AP, CBCP, said, “John and Brad are well-respected engineers and their promotions are due to their overall leadership, both current and looking to the future, to fully support our Pennsylvania clients and internal operations. Pat has a wealth of experience and expertise and we are leveraging his talents to grow and expand our operations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.”

Both Pat and John were part of the Loftus Engineers, a Pittsburgh engineering firm that was acquired by McKim & Creed in 2018. “As part of McKim & Creed, our ability to deliver engineering solutions to our clients continues to expand. The overall collaboration and effort of our entire team has been inspiring. It is exciting to continue to lead the growth of our local office with the backing of our talented national engineering staff,” said John.

“John and Brad are two of the most technically competent engineers I have ever known. They understand that we exist to provide service and I look forward to working with them to continue to strengthen our relationships with our clients,” added Pat.

“I’m excited about continuing McKim & Creed’s legacy of providing high-quality engineering that helps our clients achieve their goals,” said Brad.

McKim & Creed has been involved in such local and regional projects as the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Passavant Boiler Plant Upgrades, Project Cares Homeless Shelter, New Iron City Brewery and Pittsburgh Produce Terminal, all in Pittsburgh; Penn Highlands Healthcare medical office building and micro-hospital in State College; and a grow facility in Pennsylvania.

McKim & Creed has been ranked the 11th largest engineering firm in Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
